ARC360, a new strategic communications platform for sharing best practice and intelligence in the accident management industry has announced ACIS, the UK’s leading distributor to the bodyshop sector, as one of its corporate partners ahead of its inaugural event at the King Power Stadium in Leicester on November 27.

The event, which is being staged at the home of Leicester City FC in association with iloveclaims.com, is aimed at bringing the broader industry stakeholders together from the worlds of insurance, vehicle repair and accident management to discuss the wide ranging issues impacting the sector.

The showcase event, which is planned to be bi-annual from 2020, includes keynote presentations from Chris Weeks, executive director of NBRA and an interview with Dave Sargeant, managing director of Gemini ARC. Victoria Turner, commercial and strategy director for Hastings Direct will also provide an interesting  perspective entitled: “How an insurer sees the world.”

ARC360 co-founder Mark Hadaway, said:  “ARC360 is about assembling the cream of the industry to apply their experience to some of the issues and challenges of the day.

“Depending upon where you are in preparedness, some of the issues, such as ADAS and electric vehicle repair, have the potential to bend the industry out of shape, or even dent it beyond recognition.

“ACIS has been talking about these issues for a few years now, along with other horizon-gazing initiatives and added value offerings, so we are delighted to have them on board as a corporate member for what promises to be the dawn of a new era in industry communication.

Graham O’Neill, CEO of ACIS, said: “Bodyshop sustainability relies upon businesses keeping their ears to the ground in terms of intelligence and best practice sharing, which is why we are delighted to support the ARC360 event.

“I am sure it will become an invaluable regular calendar date for the industry as we prepare for an exciting future in an accident repair market that is constantly evolving in terms of technology and policy.”
