Looking back on a successful 2018 at ACIS

As we approach the end of 2018, it’s time to reflect on a busy and successful year for ACIS. We’d like to share some of the milestones we’ve achieved with you.

In terms of our business growth, we renewed our contract with hire vehicle giant Europcar, developing a bespoke repair tracking technology system for its UK bodyshop network, and we also made our first foray off the UK mainland, with a deal to service TrustFord’s Channel Islands dealerships.

We launched the third generation of our ASCRIBE stock control and replenishment solution to market, which now offers real-time reports using 4G or WiFi connections, as well as investing heavily in our IT systems to enhance our central billing functionality, which is now fully cloud-based and automated in-line with ASCRIBE V3.

It’s also been a successful year for investing in people. We promoted Ian Dalgarno to Business Development Director and strengthened our sales team with the appointment of Damon Curtis, who brings with him almost 40 years’ experience in the automotive distribution sector.

In another excellent milestone, our manager for customer programmes, Ryan O’Neill, made Bodyshop Magazine’s 30 Under 30 list, which recognises the brightest industry talents aged 30 and under.

We also took our first steps in the world of LinkedIn, launching our page in the late summer. You can follow our page for regular updates and news from across the business.
